    6A MCB trips when Lightbulb blows??

    doesnt happen to me although when a powerful (around 100w) kitchen bulb blows the kitchen MCB and and the main RCD trip isolating the whole house. this is because of the high inrush current imblance thus tripping the RCD. try lower wattage bulbs and good brands (osram, GE etc.)

    i dont like the fact they come out. i have only heard of sockets with dual earth, that all. was there any brand names, anything to go by? try a socket with larger terminals (ie brands like MK or crabtree)

    i attemped something like this and it was fine but isn't running a freezer and dryer at the same time going to go over 13amp? also you need 1.5mm2 flex.

    maybe the boom was a main lighting cable shorting out and thus not giving ANY light to ANYWHERE just a randome thought
