You could but with towel rails they will be even more obvious and they look terrible.Also your going to have to drill the tiles to mount them and fill the holes where the old brackets are.

Ye, only thing I could see writing it off would be the main heat exchanger which is over £1000.

Well i fitted a new aav tonight and had no problems refilling as it just vented all the air out, old one must have been knackered.

Going to replace the aav in the next couple days as I didn't think it was working properly, water at the top.

Ye i had tried the reset already, didnt realise that was the button you were talking about but thought i would try it again so i went and turned the power back on to the boiler and went outside to try it and the boiler had fired up, not sure what it was but something has got it going again, will...

Cant see a black cap, only buttons are reset on control panel and the reset on the burner, this is the boiler.

ok will try that, jackrae i have re pressurised it since then to 1 bar.

no warning lights on panel or burner and pressure was still just over 1/2 bar.
