i have just had my kitchen dot and dabbed and skimmed on 1 wall u can see the joints were the boards have met is it possible to do a very light skim over things like this or have u got to plaster the whole wall again
i have just glossed my hall stairs it did not need undercoating.i had to undercoat my doors and they look whiter than the gloss is there different shades of white you can get cause the doors look better

i am about to paint my hall it has been glossed do i need to sand down undercoat then gloss again or can i just gloss straight onto of the original gloss
thats correct it says you can dilute up to 25% for the for the first coat but i have read in another topic it is best doin 2 different dilute coats before the finish coat so was just wondering what is best.it does not say about a second dilute coat on tin
i am painting my kitchen and i have some boxed in pipe is it possible to paint the boxed in pipes with the same paint (emulsion) what i am using for my walls.so they blend in better than white gloss
yes johnstones i have diluted the first coat by 20% would it be best to just do a straight finish coat without diluting or diluting anothe coat by 10% then doin the finish coat
