    Anti-glare night driving glasses/clip-ons

Since I had my cataracts replaced some 10yrs back, I gave up night driving due to the excessive glare and the ultra-bright headlamps. I did try those antiglare clip-ons but for me they made my night vision worse.

    Clicking clutch pedal

I suffered that misfortune in a GM Avenger Estate in the middle of nowhere on a wet Sunday. Fortunately, I found a Jubilee clip in the spares & rag box so effected a successful repair that was still in place when I sold the old girl onwards.

Do I nail through both featheredge boards?

Slightly blunt each nail before driving in and splitting will be reduced to a minimum. A staple machine/gun will affix each without splitting.
