when i did some installer training with worcester all that was requied was if the system was being converted from open vent to a sealed system then stick some system cleaner like sentinal a week before you install new boiler. no powerflush is needed.

anything you buy over the counter should be coshh aprroved but stick with fernox or sentinel. if you go for any other product phone them and ask for a data sheet.

i would have to agree with kevplumb. also clean out venturis and check tubes to aps for splits.
