I have no idea why nobody hasn't asked you this already, but what you need to do is stand back and take some wider pics please.

    Storm Dennis. Who's been affected?

Just to circle this one back. I completed the Seville Marathon on Sunday in a time of 03:40. I had been training towards and aiming for 03:45 so this was a brilliant result. The whole race went pretty much to plan, I managed the pinnacle of all marathon running in achieving a negative split...

    Storm Dennis. Who's been affected?

After stepping on the scales at 21 stone about 10 years ago, I have spent the subsequent years running on and off among other things as I have lost weight, tied into meeting and marrying my wife and having 2 children. This Sunday the hard work culminates as I run the Seville marathon, my first...

Smoke/Weed Smell Coming Through Chimney Breast

I've not had any snow at all on my roof all winter. Does that mean I am growing weed then?

Planning permission for converting car port to garage

Chaps, I have a low brick wall at the front of my garden. As that brick wall is clearly the principal elevation of my house, I am okay to build it up and put a flat roof on the join the rest of my house, right? @op, you had answered the whole thread at the very beginning.

    Neighbour dispute

I would consider speaking to the landlord as well. Does he allow dogs in his rental property? Could be a roundabout way of solving the problem.

    Spain not tourist areas .....superb

Being married to a Spanish lady myself I can agree with a lot in this thread. Aldi and indeed Lidl aren't "budget" supermarkets in Spain as they are here. They are more the equivalent of Tesco or Sainsburys. The fish counters are immense but that is because there is a demand for the produce...

    Deep Cleaning

Not a chance unfortunately. Depending on how bad the car is, you "may" get away without needing it. If it is the odd bit and budget is king then go down the route of using some petrol, lighter fluid or WD40. Or if you have any "sticky stuff" remover in the house, that should do it as well...

    Deep Cleaning

I'll try and cover as many points as I can with as best knowledge as I have so here goes... 1) Don't worry about rinsing with plain water, you want your "pre-wash" to go onto the car as the desired dilution rate. If you are spraying it onto a car that is already wet, you are diluting it too...

    White marks on bricks

"Can anybody tell me how to get rid of these white spots?" "They will go eventually" "Been like it for ages though" "Eventually is a long time, nothing you can do with them, don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise" "Okay thanks, so no chemical cleaner then?" "No" "Okay thanks, I'll...

    Multi Car Insurance Cover

Something out quite recently from Martin Lewis said that 21 days before you need the cover to start is the time to get the best priced quotes. Leave it too late and everyone thinks you are getting desperate and the prices of all quotes will be higher. So best getting it done this week if I was...

    Multi Car Insurance Cover

I switched my Multi-car to LV this year after another horrendous attempt at a double digit hike from Aviva for no reason. Always worth checking individual quotes as well as it doesn't need to be a multi car policy...
