    Well I'm no expert, but would it not depend on the joist spacing, and what you use to get the 19mm thickness?. My gut feeling would be to go thicker due to the weight of furniture, and 'keep fit' activities- but I'm only trying to help- you gota do what you gota doo! 8)

    I have galloping woodworm by underfloor vents. Got to lay a whole new lounge floor, I guess. I think 18mm t&g is the only one available these days (now have 1 inch boards) Joists 16 inch apart. Like to know if chipboard floors have problems? Or is 18mm t&g better and more permanent/versatile...
