Washer is completely dead? No water coming in? No spin? Other than checking the usual stuff (power at the outlet, wire connections especially at the timer) I can't imagine anything else but a bad timer.
Maybe you are rinsing on cold water temperature and the cold side of the water valve is plugged up with sediment. If this is your problem, you can turn off the cold water supply and remove the hose end at the water valve side and clean out the filter screen thats caked up.
Make sure you check the wire connections are good under the dishwasher in the junction box. Also, this particular model has a thermal fuse inside the control panel that would possibly give the same "dead dishwasher" symtoms that you have stated.
