    Is my heating pump faulty ?

    sound as though the pump is jammed, you can free this by undoing the screw or nut in the center.be ware hot eater will come from this so be prepared, if the pump has a nut undoing it will free the pump but if it has a screw you will need to use a screwdriver to spin the end of the motor.

    Depending on what type of property you live in , the 155 should be fitted with a anti-gravity valve fitted on the heating flow pipe to stop gravity circulation when heating not on. This is refered to in the installation instructions.

    the water can run down the outside of the combustion chamber and collect on the seam of the expansion vessel. its is better that the auto air release is checked first as it costs allot less.

    if it not leaking form yhe schreder valve on the expansion vessel (the red thing) in my experince it is probably coming form the auto air release located on top of the appliance on the right of the flue elbow.

    PROBABLY NOT THE DIVERTER VALVE BUT THE DIFERENTIONAL PRESSURE SWITCH AS DIVERTER WILL SWITCH TO HTG WHEN NO DHW DEMAND.

    i would say ,from exprience, that it is one of 2 problems either the pump or diverter valve ,if not the pressure.

    if it is only locking out on the bath mixer it is that that is at fault not the boiler. the washers in the tap are expanding causing flow rate to drop overheating the boiler. re-washer taps or change if a ceramic disk mixer.

    the lock out light has nothing to do with overheating or presure loss, it only goes to lockout for ignition problems. this could be anything,gas valve , control box or even a fluing problem.

    New Boiler

    no one asked where in the uk you are, in scotland the new part l regs do not apply. as for larger manufactureers not coming out to warranty calls this may have been the case in the past but not today.
