Thanks for reply Mursal, yes the resevoir is loosing oil but only over a long period and there is no sign of any other leakage near to gaiter, replacing the complete unit looks a bit involved going by the Haynes guidlines. will probably run it and see how it goes but keep an eye on the oil...

My 04 Astra has a slight oil leak showing at the track rod connection on the driver side steering assembly, the oil is visable on the gaiter but I assume the seal is leaking! can I cure it without removing the subframe Here's hopeing!!

I have BT Yahoo for my mail, how can I erase email addresses from my list that are old or incorrect, I have tried highlighting them and entering delete but it remains in the list!! any input please :?

The radio on my 04 astra comes on with the ignition, its no big deal to simply turn it off, but can I set it not to come on untill I need it? the handbook gives no reference for this, as far as I know this is common on most vauxhalls, except the older models.

I kept my sky box when I changed to the freesat!! so it looks as though I will be ok to get the main channels I need through this on my old tv Thanks for your help Roy

I have a sky dish with 4 cable outlets, 2 are feeding the freesat box for a newish HD freeview tv if I use the other 2 outlets to feed my old none HD tv will it work when this area is changed to HD [soon] I dont want to run new cables to find its no good later on!!

Ok make sure power to boiler is off, shut off all rads {both valves} upstairs to prevent gravity feeding the bathroom rad, use a shallow tray or simular, depending on height of rad off skirting, undo one rad union nut slightly and open rad air bleed to drain. Who services your boiler...

Is it a house or flat, a rad with a drain off would serve your purpose there should be one for servicing purposes, If the bathrooms located upstairs you need not drain the whole system, but its worth doing this while your at it, Fernox protector from Screwfix cost £29.99.
