Hi thanks . From what I gather that’s because the chemical in the x400 that holds the rubbish in suspension in the system water breaks down after that. .. maybe it’s also a safety thing (?)

I had similar issues .one zone wouldn’t heat up even tho the return was warm. If your boiler is cycling like that it’s either a blockage or maybe airlock causing lack of flow . I didn’t have the boiler cycling issue but I ran some x400 through the system and 2 rooms that hadn’t heated up for a...

FWIW I took out the bleed valve and opened the valves on the radiator and the water flowed ok .. not quite sure how fast it’s suppose to come out , was some black bits floating in the water tho

Nope they’re all open returned to what they were pre the clean , have fully opened them on the cold radiator but still Luke warm .the flow and return pipes going into the radiator are nice and hot though ...

Main 28 he Before you could hear the water running fast through the radiator . Same with my underfloor heating the system would get better flow as Indicated on the flow meters , hard to explain but I know it’s running slower for want of a better decritpion .

Hi all had to drain and refill a pressurised system after using x400 .since refil it seems I don’t get as much flow to the radiator and one just won’t get hot at all .. have bled it and have also done so by taking out the entire bleed valve , turning each side of the rad off and bleeding both...

I think there’s a small bit left in there I’ve got an adaptor coming later so I can get (hopefully ) and air lock out of a radiator with a hose later ...
