    the worcester cdi has a pre purge cycle, so if the boiler has been switched off or has not been used for a while it will automatically go into the pre purge cycle for i think between 2 to 4 minutes.

    hi, if your combi is an INTERGAS boiler you can use it as a multipoint (dhw only) with the heating system drained, if not you would have to loop the flow and return together a minimum of 1m from the boiler as a temp fix.

    hi mate, i would say that its definitely your zone valve, it sounds like the valve is opening but not quite reaching the micro switch, you could try removing the head (actuator) from the valve body and check if the boiler fires, although the earlier drayton valves were made with a fixed head so...

    hi, whilst the covers are off the actuators as in the photo check that the levers inside the actuators are opening far enough as to touch the microswitch when there is a demand for hot water.

    :idea: hi again, the faulty relay is a common fault with the drayton digistats! my advice to you is (dont buy a new drayton receiver, you can get a TOWER or SALUS rf stat for about the same price or cheaper! and they are more reliable in my opinion. hope this helps. :?: :idea:

    hi mate, your problem is a faulty relay in the receiver unit, its receiving a signal from the stat but will not bring the heating on.
