I can dial into the panel remotely without problem. The com2400 sends the texts - or at least did do! Do I log into the engineering via wintex or on site using the keypad? I am now no longer at the property although am back at the weekend... but there is someone there if I need there help and...

how do I change to fast forward and also how do I change the modem count?

I have changed the centre number to just one box, no gaps - still won't dial. What else should I try? How would I adjust the modem count level as suggested?

Just double checked, definitely can't see this option anywhere... or the option to 'Send an sms' which is what the manual says should be an option?!

the only numbers I can see in there are the two mobile numbers for sending the texts too... not the centre numbers? How do I get there?!

Okay, it finally stopped trying to dial out. I called in and hung up after 3 rings, then rang straight back. The modem only answered after the usual 10 rings...

Panel says system alerts and then coms failure

I dialled in once and it rang once and then cut off. I'm getting an engaged tone or, hearing the modem dial and then a dead/ engaged tone. If I listen for a while, I hear it dial again and then the dead/ engaged tone again before it dials again. Think the alarm is still trying to dial out to...

i think the alarm is trying to dial at the moment and is now saying ' the number you have dialled has not been recognised...'?! Strange, because I heard the modem tones before?!

Not able to check that i'm afraid... no multimeter :( i've just armed the system and if I lift the handset on the phone, I can hear it dialling so the alarm is trying to dial... what should I be listening for?

Finally be able to check the number from the landline. I get the modem tones when dialling: 07785 499993. Assume this is correct? Checked the phone bill and no sign to this number but alarm currently says 'System Alerts'. Any suggestions as to what it could be or what I should try?!

Sorry, novice here! How would I check for 50v or do a digi reset?! Would updating the software on the panel or my wintex help?! Not that I know how to do that either

Yes, filters are on the broadband and alarm. No hanged there...

Will give that a go at the weekend when I'm next there. Still no texts tonight after changing the code though :( Should I put that Voda number in both the boxes?
