    Can anybody tell me what this is?

    I would like to identify what looks like a specialized PIR. It has no brand name or any means of identification. It is a black 'ball' 7cm across and was mounted to overlook the front drive of the house. The 'ball' swivels mechanically in 2D only. The wiring is low voltage and has 6 wires...
