How about some more info... What Operating system do you use? Windows xp / Vista? How much memory has the comuter ? RAM size Hard dive Size, free space? Whats the CPU? and age of the computer? Personally I wouldnt just go about dusitng out the computer etc, your likely to cause...

What version of AVG are you running? Is it run on a wireless laptop by any chance? ive seen this problem when new wireless netwrks are deteted. In the Firewall config, you can stop the Search for new areas, and turn of the warning....If you need more pointers i can look this upfor you..

Right guys, Our Freezer playing up... Its a Hotpoint RFS60S High Temp light Warning on for Freezer Compartment.... Checked everything, door shut tight etc.... turned up temp (or down if you like)... still nothing.... also trying the fast freeze method at the moment to see if that kools...

Depending on the age of the house most TRUSS style loft spaces are not designed for any extra load at all... If your lucky you may find tacked or stamped onto the TRUSSES the load wieght, normally about 75KGs per truss... thats for the tiles + possible snow.... Your TRUSS structure doesnt...

Have you tried using a Magnet to help get it out? Or a paper clip with a very small amount of super glue on it... Could try a spare key from the opposte side too.... or something longer and thinner to push it back...

If your going to go to the effort of putting up brown paper (Which I hate as its not exactly fire retardent is it??) You may as well opt for some of the foil sided bubble style insulation instead. It will be fire retardent to BS standards, and also add some nsulation to the loft space. and...

Anychance of some pictures of what your loft structure looks like? What are the walls made of on the upper floor of the house? Brick? partition? Do you have dimentions of the loft area? Are the joists single? or joined? (do they span the loft space as a single peice of timber?)

I wouldnt use the car...!!!.... I burnt out a clutch pulling out several conifer type bushes a few years ago.... My advice is cut away all excess, chop round the roots with a spade, and work your way around each bush root unitll it will come free by hand... Takes time, but will save you an...

Could you of just put the switch back on upside down? two wires into COM is just the COMmon loop to another Switch normally.

NOT correct.... Apple viruses started or came to light in 2006... and theres been a few more since then.... its far to common for people to asume having a apple mac means you wont get infected with any kind of virus etc....

Im asuming the Stair tread is secure.... if you can find out where its banging against, and there is a gap, appart from when you put full body wieght on it apply / fill the gap with some silicone.... leave it to set completeley prior to walking on it... this will stop if not reduce the banging...
