Sorry, i know i should laugh.... ROFLMAO Yeah ive checked the connections are all ok. Ive now pulled the Fan from the Shower switch, Still have same problem with shower as before.... Just need to wire up the Fan to the Light switch now....

The shower is about 12 months old.... Water isnt really a problem i dont think....it can be a bit cloudy tho.... Fan is a standard extractor fan, about 4 inch across... Its not fused down.

For the sake of 20 notes, just replace the glowplugs..... taking htem out and cleaning them if they are playing up is a quick cheap fix.... but 20 notes spent is something I always do on a diesel engined motor.... esp if i dont know the full history of the motor

HAve you tried running a hose pipe through the radiator? sound slike it could be blocked, hence you not getting full water flow. How many million miles as this engine done? they normally do about 200k before beond salvaging.... Are both inlet and outlet water pipes getting warm when engine runs?

100mm Joists are not the best things to be flooring over anyway.... far to flimsy for anything other than very VERY light storage. Is the roof structure made from Prefab trusses by any chance? If you must do this, then insulate to 100mm, then floor over that.... for the extra insualtion...

Just had a thaught, if you are getting fed up with this problem and it is caused by Supply fluctutations...You should get some CFLs (Energy Saving Lamps). Apart from saving you money on electricity, they last for years and are tolerant of supply voltage fluctuations.

Ok, so we now have a good idea its supply based... and not just your lighting curcuits. The Lamp trick is good no? Hows your CU (Consumer Unit) set up? Do you have just the one? is it split or single load... ie does it have rcbo protection? Since this problem started have you modifed...

whats the make of the cooker? if you tell us the make / model... and not that its B rated.... someone here will find ou tits actual Power rating . You could maybe ring up the manufacturer to find out then post back here and let us know.... You say youve used 30Amp cable.... What size...
