    Here`s one for you if you......... If you just connected the CPC from the twin and earth straight to the back of the metal face plate.....would you really think you would need to attach a flying CPC from the faceplate to a metal backbox? :?:

    Quick question on chopping out....

    Like plug says speak to your plasterer but there is no reason why he/she cant make the wall depth suit the backbox. One thing to keep in mind is as you run your cables up or down to the any backboxes,remember to cable clip them to the wall as slightly loose cables can move out of the safe zones.

    Well, (as ricicle states), dont use that light at all . Your council man/woman should NOT have passed this as a safe piece of equipment and pass it in line with document part P ,as it has no earth and it is not either ... 1.Plastic or 2.Double insulated (as secure stated). Phone them up...

    I can remember a time when i had a united utilities guy out to reconnect the mains after i had replaced a consumer unit and when i was showing him my test results he laughed and asked why i called all the cooker circuit a `final` circuit..... He said ` only ring circuits are final...
