Yes , where the red is connected in the wiring center and where the yellow is connected put a link wire between these two terminals or you wont get any central heating

If they are the wires from the stat the blue can just be disconected as that is neutal ,green can be disconected as that is earth and you wouldn need to put a link in between red and yellow to complete the heating circuit as one will be the programmer calling for ch and the other will go to fire...

No because the valve is stuck shut the pipe will not get hot upto the valve as there is no floe through that part of the circuit

Sounds like not enought water in the system if it is fed via a small tank in the loft check that the ballvalve hasnt stuck and there is water in the tank , if there is it could be a blocked feed from the tank into the system .

in theory you arnt allowed to re route this but officially you would be charged at least £150 plus , get some offical cable in either black , brown or white and no one will be any the wiser . :lol:

the trvs are not linked to yuor room stat , the room stat should turn the whole heating off when the temp is reached , so either the room stat is faulty or wired incorrectly.

Its best to just run a temporary wire , if you went down the official route it would cost you a fortune , just run your temp wire and connect it and keep the connections dry .

How about getting your installer back to sort it out

Sometimes the blue part moves but doesnt turn the shaft , take the blue head off and use an adjustable spanner on the shaft .
