Someone please correct me if i am wrong but if you fit an AAV to the 22mm discharge from a Saniflo before it connects to the main soil stack, then surely you will have waste products being pumped out of the AAV???

    Worcester 40 CDi - Fault

I must admit that I was a little surprised that the heat exchanger was replaced under warranty with no questions asked...Having said that, the sample that the engineer took from the system was honestly very very clean.

    Worcester 40 CDi - Fault

Just a quick update for those of you who were kind enough to reply to my original post. I down rated the appliance to 30kw but this did not cure it. Worcester made a second visit yesterday (different engineer) and the heat exchanger was replaced...early days (it was an intermittent fault)...

    Worcester 40 CDi - Fault

Rads appear to be piped properly albeit in 10mm, not via a common manifold but each teeing into the heating circuit individually...Each rad was flushed seperately and the machine has a pair of magnets so I could see how the flush was going. Used 4 litres of X800.

Even though they can be a nightmare to contact, Salamander's technical helpline staff are usually very helpful...They might suggest fitting non return valves to the OUTLET side of the pump...I have done this for similar problems with a positive head shower pump but I am not sure if the same...
