It might if its picked up by the crankshaft. Try the dipstick to see if it is magnetic, if it is, drain the oil then get a fairly strong magnet and draw it along the outside of the sump to the plug hole, this should draw the bit to the hole and you may be able to hook it out. :wink:

Try spraying the logs with a little bleach/water solution. It will shift the moss and maybe the bugs. :wink:

I think you should first purchase a workshop manual, then try changing the temperature sender/sensor.If it still reads high do as Dave suggests and change the thermostat followed by bleeding the system. :wink:

Is the master cylinder on the nearside of the engine bay? If so, look for a sticking linkage on the transfer rods from the pedal to the master cylinder. :wink:

I don't think the fuel filter would give you a misfire, It sounds like an electrical problem. Try changing the spark plugs and leads. :wink:

Before you start buying sensors, have a readout done to point you in the right direction. :wink:

A couple of days at the very least to ensure everything is checked and correctly replaced, if you are not familiar with cylinder heads I would suggest you obtain a workshop manual to give you guidance and check the head for warpage with a known straight edge or have it skimmed as a matter of...

If the belt has broken you will probably have valve damage (Autodata) You can check by replacing the belt and doing a compression or leakdown test. :cry: :wink:

Could be an air lock, try bleeding the system. :wink:
