Could be a faulty actuator in the door/s or broken wires in the loom/rubber grommet that goes from the car body to the door/s. :wink:

Put your wipers and ignition in the on position then check for power at the motor. If you have power at the motor and a good earth from the motor then I would change the motor. :wink:

Remove the clamps and give them and the battery posts a good clean with grit paper or a file, then give them a coat of Vaseline. If it is not a sealed battery, check the fluid level in the cells. Then you could also have your battery checked at a garage or motor factors if you are still not sure.

The tensioner is probably spring loaded, put a fairly long ring spanner or socket on the nut that holds the tensioner wheel and turn it . the whole wheel should move and release the tension on the belt. :wink:

Try cleaning out the air intake, in and around the throttle flap area. If that doesn't cure it........A fault code readout can take all the guess work out of it and should point you in the right direction, saving you money in the long run. :wink:

Try changing the coolant temp sensor, not expensive or difficult to do. :wink:

You probably have broken wire(s) in the grommet where it comes from the roof to the tailgate.Open the tailgate and pull back the grommet to check, if any are broken.

Sounds like the alarm system, flashing lights & broken fob. Do you have another black or grey key fob? If you have I can send you the reprogramming sequence. I think it would be better to start by having a diagnostics done, it should point you in the right direction. :wink:

Flat battery ? Try another battery or try jump leads. The flashing of the lights could be linked to the alarm? :wink:

Belt will be O.K. but change that track rod end (it's worn and will continue to wear away) Change it before it makes your tyre wear away fast. :wink:

If the light is lit it will have a fault code stored, if he can't read it or extinguish it with his equipment, try another garage for the readout. Once you have cured the problem, you have to have the light reset to clear it. :wink:

If the brakes were binding you would find it difficult to push....is it difficult ? How long ago did you have the work done ? :wink:

ABS is the breaking system, it has nothing to do with engine power. Sounds like you have 2 problems, I would start by taking it back to where the work has been done and see what they say. :wink:
