You would have to wire the sonoff to the cylinder stat but as said you seem out of your depth.

I would check that hot water zone valve isint jammed open and if you have a automatic bypass that it isint stuck open.

Your plumber has to guarantee it for a year and as said the sink you have may be more expensive than the pack.

£160 sounds about right for fitting, how much did you expect to pay for a couple of hours ?

Pump is on its way out /blocked or lack of water in the system.

Take the head off the Trv and make sure the pin isint stuck, if that’s not the problem close all the other rads and see if you can force the flow round the cold rad.

Is the new valve fully open?

If the coil had a pinhole it would pressurise the feed and return not drop the pressure, valve opening probably caused by flat expansion vessel and if there is no sign of a leak try isolating the boiler to see if the main heat exchanger is leaking down the condensate (assuming its a steamer)

Has your boiler fixererer removed the ta link on the new pcb?

Take off the aerator on the end of the mixer tap and run hot and cold.

I think I would start by putting the expansion vessel vertical.

If that does not work check the ignition and rectification probes are clean.
