Disconnect the wire to the condensate trap and see if that affects what's happening.

i cant see how its over your boundary, the fire and flue has to be on their side (obviously) so it looks like the wall is set back from the boundary line.

Yes common stays as it is, 1 is call for heat and 2 is satisfied so just swop 1 and 2 around.

You have the cylinder stat wired backwards, swop 1 and 2 .

Maybe the op have momo valves controlling the heating /hot water, I cant see any other reason to wire the "off" terminals.

Unfortunately vaillant use their own version of ebus that only works with vaillant controls, it wont work with other ebus controls, you can use the tado but only as an off/on control .

There is a good chance one of the 2port valves you have is stuck in the on position, I can’t see exactly but I think it’s the top one that’s doing your hot water.

Which thermistor did you replace ?

So setting the hot water on times on the programmer is too simple a solution for the op ?
