Hi, Thanks for your replies. We've had another look and the pump spins no problem. Should the control thermistors be showing 0 on an ohm meter when hot or should there be resistance?

the only thing you can really do is scrape it off and put new stone in i assume you've put a geo-textile membrane down before MOT, then you're planning another layer of membrane before gravel???
