I`ve finally decided on a board, its the Intel D925ECV & it will take an H/T Pentium 4 EE 800/1066mhz FSB, so I have a choice of making it quick or s**t fast & it can handle upto 4gb of DDR2 400/533mhz plus a PCIExpressx16. So now all i`ve got to find is a fast CPU and a case.

My current machine is built from a PCChips M810L board with the SiS730 chipset & i`ve had a lot of weird things happening, whereas my last machine was a Intel board & that run sweet as a nut. I`ve done a bit of research & found a board in PCWorld by ECS but it`s an ATI chipset & not intel, it...

I had the same problem with my old 16gb WDCaviar, turns out the actual drive was lose in the bay & it was vibrating against the sides of the bay, tightened up the screws & problem solved.

Why is it some Volvos have sidelights that are always on when you start up? ever told a volvo driver that his lights are on? & what is it with xenon lights, just on the brow of a hill & wham, temporary blindness followed by spots whenever you blink!

Did a rather daft thing earlier, I unplugged the CPU fan so I could swap the ram without the ruddy wire getting in the way, bad idea. Fitted the new ram & forgot to plug the fan back in! doh! Anyhow the old dinosaur fired up a bit quicker until about 10 mins later I could smell summat...

I`m currently running a Athlon XP 1600 1.4ghz with 384mb ram & 64mb graphics, and can anyone tell me how much ram the CPU can handle before causing problems? The board can take 1gb max but I don`t know if the CPU will cope.

There ain`t no error message, it just displays a load of random dots and the cartridge moves from side to side and the power light flashes red indicating a problem, but as to what the problem is, i`m clueless! Its still under warranty but I can`t find the receipt!

hi, I left it on for about an hour and a load of meaningless text kept flashing on the screen randomly and the print carriage kept moving side to side so I turned it off and about a 5 mins later it turned itself back on! so is that a sign of summat failing or failed?

forgot to mention but I use it as a stand-alone printer, I just select the photos I want to print on my camera and then stick the MMC card into the printer and hit print

Just to update ya`ll, I got rid of the SR-30 and replaced it with a couple of sattelites and a 200 watt sub, okay its another Logitech but I trust this one! The sub is mounted differently and this ones a pressure sub instead of being ported and it whips my last sub!
