Kitchen ceiling bar lighting, is it safe with IP20 rating.

There are no requirements on kitchen lights as far as IP ratings are concerned.

    Light switches wired wrongly

No, two ghost like fingers. Just as two ghost like everything else when focussing on the finger. I do not understand how it could be otherwise.

    Light switches wired wrongly

If it helps: Ok. Which one? There are two of each distant object. To me, it looks more like the object moves from behind the finger to one side. Which side being dependent on which of the two objects was first chosen. It does. I don't know.

    Isolator on extractor fan

Back out? There you go. Yes, but you cannot class it as the sort of 'condensation' we are discussing when a constant supply of water is being introduced into the building. It used to surprise me how cold empty properties were (colder than outside) but had no condensation.

    Concealed joints again!

Here's a thought: maybe the regulations are not as well thought out as they could be.

    Isolator on extractor fan

Mould only grows on surfaces that never dry. It's a mixture of both. You forgot to mention: very humid rest of the property because of poor ventilation, washing drying indoors, cooking in unventilated kitchen, many indoor plants, fish tanks, several people, several big dogs etc.

    Bathroom light has 9 wires

You have to connect your new light the same way as the old light therefore you need an extra connector for the additional wires.

Is this main breaker box and subpanel setup correct?

You mean because most people are right-handed and it is better for holding a gun and whip while sitting on the left-hand horse.

Is this main breaker box and subpanel setup correct?

Oh, ok, then my question stands - Is there a reason for doing that?
  17. EFLImpudence

Is this main breaker box and subpanel setup correct?

Well, yes but it is TN-C-S because they bond ground and neutral at some point; not the other way round. So they just bond at a different place than do the UK. I was getting the impression that they - the US - bond in the CU as well.

    Isolator on extractor fan

Ah - I was thinking of the fan. So: That doesn't sound like an isolator; just a switch.
