I've had some works done, where the electrician pulled the main fuse, and connected in a new fuse box off an existing Henley block. There will be further works to remove the old fuse box once the first floor of the house has been refurbished, so will need to be able to isolate the henley block...

Sorry it was a breather membrane, and vented ridge (i assume that using clips to hold ridge tiles down rather then mortar are vented?) previously was bedded on mortar. Soffit was wood, and is now covered in plastic, there were no vents prior, and still are none.

The Celotex is already down, and most likely the wire will need to pass through. Light fittings and the MCB its on, will remain as they are, just tidying up the wiring at this stage!

Good Morning, I am covering the floor in my loft with 100mm of celotex. Upstairs wiring needs tidying up (there are a couple of twisted connections, a few choc blocs etc... plus i've been having issues with dimming lights. So i will be looking to re-run all the wiring between the two ends...

Thanks for the responses, and apologies -i wanted the idea of non-maintained (ie not on all the time) but now realise that its actually maintained i want, with the device being capable of switching the light seperatly. Works for LED GU10's which makes it ideal for my need - ie can use the same...

Thanks - gave them a call, the kit they do doesnt output 230v for GU10 lamps.. Apparently none do, so may have to convert that light to MR16 or MR11... in which case the knightsbridge one should work as it will need driver regardless!
