    New central heating boiler

And I did get a reply first thing this morning. Here it is. Thank you for your email. The failed pumps, noise and erratic heating up of radiators all point to major system problems - not a boiler problem. The most likely cause of the boiler locking out is that it is overheating (hence the...

    New central heating boiler

Boiler had locked out this morning and after it had been reset (3 or 4 times) the pipe for refilling the CH was warm in the airing cupboard and also the same pipe under the floor next to the boiler. Any ideas?

    Can anyone tell me this.

We've had some new rads and a new boiler installed. We had an extension a few years ago and some new rads were added but were teed off in slightly smaller pipe than the rest of the house. Now these rads worked perfectly well with the old Baxi 70FF but since we've had the new Micron 70FF these...

heating zones, TRV's and bypass rads

We've got TRV's. We had them at our old house 20 yrs ago and I thought we'd have them in our current house as we've had our heating revamped. I now remember that they were rubbish and still are. You can easily turn the knob down on your radiator if the room is too hot. TRV's vary enormously in...

    Glow Worm Micron 80FF problems

Our system was originally gravity fed. When we had a Baxi installed it was changed to fully pumped and somehow when the Micron was installed became gravity fed again before being re-piped round the boiler to become fully pumped again. It is open-vented. Yes definitely! :?

Mine is attached to the wall below the kitchen worktop. The pump is under the floorboards. Reading the boards has Glowworm got a reliable name product-wise?

    New central heating boiler

In July, we finally got rid of a Baxi condensing boiler to replace with new Glowworm Micron 70FF plus new rads. The system was flushed with Fernox and has been refilled about 5 times. We had problems at first with all the rads getting red hot upstairs and not down...plumber changed a bit of...
