In the US where they run on 110v how do they get on with cable sizes? I always understud that the lower the voltage the higher the current so their cables must be way larger than ours!?

The pump manufacturers are not saying 10a, it was a 10 year old document from when the tank etc was installed. Im sure the pumps are about 5.5A each so C6 would be OK and allow room for the startup current?

No problems, just want to cover all possible problems due to bad experience.

They are sewage pumps and the install manual says: 0.75kw moter rated MCB @ 10A

B,C OR D? dont they have a large start up current?

Its for a project of mine, need to detect when the power fails to a remote panel. Would probably need to be battery backed.

so if one set was "C" type and one "B" type then it may be OK?

If you have a cable feeding a sub board (protected by MCB) and a fault happens on a circuit fed via the sub board then it will trip the breaker for that circuit in the sub board but not trip the breaker feeding the sub board? Thanks

Does the relay count go down if there is no alarm silence button?
