    By manual i mean a 10 year old document from when the tank etc was installed. The pump specs have come off the pumps over time.

    The pump manufacturers are not saying 10a, it was a 10 year old document from when the tank etc was installed. Im sure the pumps are about 5.5A each so C6 would be OK and allow room for the startup current?

    so if one set was "C" type and one "B" type then it may be OK?

    If you have a cable feeding a sub board (protected by MCB) and a fault happens on a circuit fed via the sub board then it will trip the breaker for that circuit in the sub board but not trip the breaker feeding the sub board? Thanks
