Just to add as info, the floors I've sealed with Osmo 7 years ago don't attract dirt, an are easily cleaned with a mop...

what one would you buy please

-Find her most demanding game, and look at the spec requirements it says on it -Multiply each of those specs by one and a half, maybe even two -Find a few computers with at least that spec -Read the online reviews for them - choose one you're happy with -Check the spec with your daughter -Buy...

what one would you buy please

Maybe start by having a look here: https://uk.pcmag.com/desktops/73/the-best-desktop-computers Or maybe ask her to research what technical spec she needs

what one would you buy please

...then I can't see why she'd need such an absurdly expensive computer - is she a professional gamer?

what one would you buy please

What does she intend to use it for? A gaming PC is different to an image processing PC, which is different to a web design PC, which is different to a document working PC...

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

Looking at the maths from one of your screenshots: roughly 30kWh costing roughly £4 means you're paying just over 13p/kWh which strongly suggests that the economy 7 tariff is working as it should be.

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

Not completely sure but post 46 seems to clearly show different rates for night and day.

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

I would suggest don't ask Google - ask Octopus, in writing (email for example). If the period of cheap rate night time is longer than the period the immersion comes on, and you haven't enough hot water, then I'd suggest -match the hot water timer to your cheap rate tariff timer -Check/raise...

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

You want to set the times to be the times when you want them to be putting out heat. ...bearing in mind that it takes a while (maybe half an hour or an hour) for the space to heat up/cool down. Usually you'd want heating at different times in different rooms. Do you have any instructions for...

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

It looks like high usage 1am till 5:30am I think? When does the night rate run from and to?

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

It looks to me like the storage heaters are set to output heat 6:30am to 9am, and 3pm to 11pm (can someone double check those screenshots?) - is that when you actually want them to be outputting heat? (If not then it would be good to change those times)
  18. StephenStephen

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

You might want to double check that the time of high usage is the same as the time of the night rate
  19. StephenStephen

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

So you are on day/night tariff - which is as it should be, and it looks like it's using power during the night when it's cheaper, as it should be.

Immersion hot water not lasting long enough!

...unless setting the thermostats higher effectively shifts electricity use into a lower rate time of day, by reducing the need to boost at high rate times.
