    Is this lot compliant?

.... or the well being of the registered sparky's name that is on the certificate. I doubt he knows anything about this job  Surely if a circuit has been put into service it should be certified, and if you later go an wire another circuit it would be certified seperately? :?

    Is this lot compliant?

    Are my extension electrics illegal?

    Are my extension electrics illegal?

Thats correct. OSG says unfused spurs should not exceed number of socket outlets, (which means you can 1 spur from every socket). Fused spurs are unlimited (which means you can take as many sockets as you want from a 13A FCU)

will cooker point cope with new cooker

No it wont. The application of diversity is to assess the maximum demand of the installation as a whole. 433.1.1 says the current setting of the protective device (In) must not be less then the design current (Ib) Regards

    SWA cleats

Thanks for the replies. I remember the T+E issue coming up during my 2391 practical exam. The problem was that the T+E cables were placed sideways and secured with a clip designed for one cable. I can understand this being an issue as the T+E cables will get crushed by the clip. With the SWA...

    SWA cleats

Hi Guys, I have come across a couple of SWA cables where the cleats for both are secured by 1 long screw, so that 1 cable is sitting in front of another. It looks like it has been done because space is limited, and 1 cable cannot go above or below the other. The grouping factor is not a...

You could probably use something like this: http://uk.farnell.com/1344234/industrial-controls-automation/product.us0?sku=finder-801102400000 If you had 3 timers you could cascade them so that the first timer will then start the next timer as well as supplying a spot light. regards
