I have a circular shaped kitchen sink bought used so without fittings. It does not have a lip underneath at the edge like standard shaped steel kitchen sinks do so I can't use those type of clip fittings. Any suggestions other than using loads of silicone?

Thanks. That was the one I was looking at actually. Seems like switching the brackets to the more shallow hang will get me back 11mm which counters the 11mm extra depth of type 21 rad but type 22 would still be 11mm out.

I did think that and gave it a good pull and wiggle (and it does move a bit) but don't want to do it too hard incase the cartridge gets damaged. Shall i spray some Viakal or white vinegar around it perhaps?

Are you referring to the plastic CCU, lack of RCD or both? I know and EICR pass for rental property can pass with plastic CCUs can pass if everything else complies.
