    Warmflow Combi boiler 70/90 problem

Just noticed your white boxes which are motorised valves. They are not wired up so will not be open. Lever on side to open. Or this is a wind up.

    Warmflow Combi boiler 70/90 problem

Probably heating pump seized or failed. The green round thing. The valve you say is shut is open( slot inline of pipe is open) and it is above I think an auto by-pass. Leave alone as it doesn't need touching. If the "green box" (pump) is roasting it will be seized. You could take out the centre...

Anyone fitted a Realm Corner Bath from Victoria Plumb??

It will be an encapsulated board in the fibre glass, does in not come with assembly instructions? Every bath I have fitted comes with them or you could download a set.

    Boiler noise is back again

Why use two different manufacturer products Fernox and Sentinal. both companies have cleaners matched to there inhibitor. The company products do similar things but with different chemical backgrounds. That could possibly be causing a problem.

Glowworm ultrapower six PCB fuse blows

Probably to do with power surge when power came back on. It's only a few quid. If it blows again time for a gas safe engineer.

    New Install-Glow worm ultracom 30cxi

The Ultracom 30cxi is the old version of the now named Ultracom 2 30cxi. both boilers are easy to work on and the 2 version is a very good bit of kit and in my opionion better than the equivalent Vaillent model. The controls are easier to work if you have the Climapro two control...

    Plumbing tool?

I'm getting old but not that old. Prob some small chisel or point of knife. Is it still use? as it would pribably be frowned upon as the lead would pollute the water these days.

    Plumbing tool?

Probably the nib of a fountain pen pressed hard to the lead as in the dot then press and the fingers of the nib spread open. Or totally wrong.

ECO Boiler scheme - which Boiler to get?

You will find in most boilers some plastic in the water areas. The Vaillant is a SS h/ex and easier for access to change anything. My opinion Worcester over priced for doing the same job and have some wild ideas as awkwardness for access to parts.

ECO Boiler scheme - which Boiler to get?

Agree with Worcester but Vaillant Ok but casing a bit flimsy. Don't know about the Potty or the Vokera. Pretty good warrenty with Vaillant.

    Rayburn PJ Ecoflame burner

The Mono 1 is the burner not the pump. The oil line is attached to the oil pump by a hose. It will have a name on the side which I think will be danfoss bfp (number) then a letter and another number. I would check for oil coming to pump first. Do no touch the allen screw tower as it sets pump...

    Anyone fitted a Gerberit Duofix?

If its the one I am thinking about you would do well to lift boards and fit 6x2 solid grounds (timber) underneath to give the coach bolt something to bite into. If you do it into boards themselves it would either split them or not get enough bite. I take the frame bolts to wall at top too. Again...

    Best unvented inderect cylinder

OSO, blends water to 60'C so you don't need as big a cylinder. 250 litre cylinder will give approx 400 litres of usable water.

Please help with boiler/unvented cylinder choice

You could use a combi and split the heating with motorised valves to heat the cylinder seperately from the heating and the combi to do one of the bathrooms.
