I think you might find that 25kw is not adequate for two 400 litre cylinders. I did a 450 litre one the other day and the coil is about 40kw. Even magaflows are 20kw plus now on a standard domestic tank.

Have you check for a frozen condensate waste? May cause probs as I think the outlet is at the back left hand side. If frozen use a hair dryer to defrost. ps I take its the Greenstar 30cdi?

You can still get parts for it, I would think it's the coil inside which regulates the temp or the barrels are needing cleaned. It will be listed as a Mira 722 O ring kit and a thermostatic coil for same. Should be able to be refurbished up to full working in under an hour.

Will be imperial 1/2" copper not 15mm metric which the push fit is for. Not much of a difference as compression fittings work ok on the imperial 1/2" but they compress onto the pipe taking up that difference but enough for push fit to blow off or leak past the o-ring.
