It already has a intumescent strip in the door. But the gap still seems too wide. Maybe wooden strip on the door frame jamb?

    Gap between door and frame

Hi All, I've noticed gaps between the door leaf edge and the door jamb frame. Its a fire door which should only have a 3mm gap. At the moment its more like 11mm in some places. I was wondering how can this be repaired without changing all the doors? I was thinking wood filler the door until...

    Replacement Radiator fitting/size

Yes go smaller, or get a custom rad as long as the BTU is correct for the room. The best way it to re-adjust the tails from below ground and bring them up to the correct position.

    brick work lengths

    Hi All, I'm looking to build a brick/block shed in the garden. There is one thing i'm not to sure about. If i wanted to make a 1m long wall for example and i used 215mm brick, i would do as below. 215mm + 10mm + 215mm + 10mm + 215mm + 10mm + 215mm = 890mm (0.89m not 1metre) If i add a...

Baxi Solo 3 pfl 8mm micro bore

They recently moved into this house, so no floor boards have been lifted yet. A manifold must be under the floor. The pump was taken out and taken apart to inspect, all seemed fine. The rads all get hot, from top to bottom, but take some time in doing so. must still be clogged at the rads...

Baxi Solo 3 pfl 8mm micro bore

Thanks for the reply muggles. Those parts were needed the pcb board went because it kept over heating, which ended up burning the board. After that the fan went, so decided to change the fan and switch at the same time. I could feel the rads warming up midway, but then again the rads do look...

A whole day was spent doing it and using the products etc. may be there...
