I see what you mean. Just had a look at one in wickes, and the bore narrows down to a very small hole.

It looks like a good piece of kit. But I suspect the limited access that the original poster was referring to would mean that this can't be used.

Due to the limited space, it it possible to use a flexible (instead of a rigid 22mm copper pipe) in the return pipe near where the Magnabooster will fit. See photo FlexiblePipe of the sort of thing I had in mind.
