    Not a good idea to have two combi. Better to have a system boiler and unvented hot water system. It is all depend on your incoming water main pressure and how much litres per minute it can supply. Best to ask your plumber to advise you. Daniel.

    No worries, I have seen those collar ring before in the 70s and 80s. Might ask the op if he can scratch the surface to see if it is plastic or metal. It look like plastic and box in so likely to be internal soil stack. Daniel.

    As above. This is the old gas service pipe and does not belong to you, it is capped so it may be dead or live. Contacting the gas supplier is the best way. Daniel.

    Yes, the boiler does do the heating radiators and heat the hot water. What exactly is it leaking? A photo will help. Did the engineer inspect the heat exchanger for any water stain? Daniel.
