Ages ago i had a plumber and he took the pump off, it looked quite easy, and when he took it off a load of black crap was coming out of the pump, now hardly any of my radiators are working, i don't know if the pump could be blocked, so i was going to let all the black stuff out, is this easy...

Thanks for the help, what i had a plumper a while ago he took the pump off and you heard a load of water running through the pipes and black water was dripping when he took it off, is this right? thanks

Cheers, is it right for the pump to get really hot, so hot you can't touch it?, my pump is making a funny noise and it's really hot, and only 2 radiators out of 8 are working at the moment. Thanks
