    no spread i know would ever dream of using grab adhesive to dot n dab a wall. if your interested in doing it properly use to correct stuff. plasterboard adhesive.

    you can also tank normall plasterboard if you dont like to use aquapanel. aquapanel isn't meant to be skimmed so (or so i'm lead to beleive) and if you intend only to tile a certain part of a wall i would dot n dab plasterboard skim it then tank the required areas.

    i use wickes bonding agent on artex- as you know artex sucks like crack house whore and wba kills this virtually dead. then skim to a two coat finish you may even need a third depending on the depth of the artex itself but if its really deep you can give it a tight coat of bonding first but...

    i agree with richard c aprt from the sticking the board with grab adhesive. cut back to the board halfway along the joists then cut fresh board and attach by screwing into the joists. scrim tape the edges then feather in the joins

    hi lilac, 12.5 boards are the ones your after but with IVORY side down not the brown. it actually states on the board USE THIS SIDE. :shock: screw them to the joists checking they are level stagger the joints like brickwork and scrim tape the joints n screw heads. not exactly sure...
