    Removing my existing fire and want to block it up.I've heard that you need to put a vent for airflow where the fire was.I was wondering instead of putting a vent on the inside of the house could i not put an airbrick on the outside of the chimney.Help appreciated.

    marking rafter

    howdy.working on a new building site for a different house builder.putting on a roof i've never done before.the top hat trusses sit on two gluelam beams which are easy enough but how do you you mark the 7x2 which gets fitted from the side of the top hat to the wallplate any help would be great.
