    Fill to 2 bar. Leave system off for the next 2 hours. Re-check every joint you can and then post how much is lost.

    Sabre HE :roll: Did you check EV when cold and no pressure pushing back on it? IE an open end? Put a balloon on PRV, just to make sure, it does sound like a major leak on the system. Close flow and return to boiler and check in morning. Does the pipework downstairs go under concrete at all?

    Flow rate, pressure and temperature rise from boiler. Have you checked them? I doubt it. What tap is it? Are all other hot taps ok?

    Not really, you could go any cold feed/open vent config, but is easier to replace, also what boiler do you have? Might be an option to go sealed system.

    There's a tiny tab on the bit you twist off. Break it with a screwdriver and then twist off as per.

    As said then. Drain down, sweat joint off, redo, access permitting, or if the fitting is dry just a tad more solder, vary on price, so couldn't give you a figure without seeing I'm afraid.

    Are you 100% it's from that joint? It could be drained and re-soldered.
