    Use one of these with a 1/2 inch top hat washer then throw away the nut & olive and screw your tap connector to it.You will need some ptf tape around the tap before screwing on or a fibre washer inside the fitting. http://www.screwfix.com/p/conex-female-coupler-303-15mm-x/45683

    It,s 500mm of pipe plus the 100mm to the centre of the bend gives you the 600 that,s why i said 500MM of straight PIPE.

    I think it's 500mm of straight pipe from the top of a woodburner but not sure about the rear.You could always use flexi straight from the tee but might not be visually good :?:

    It is probably the ball cock in the cold water tank in the loft or wherever the tank is. The next time you here the noise put your hand on the ball cock and see if the noise stops.It could be the pipework but most likely as above.

    i've still got my springs 10,15 & 22mm. My mate down in Bristol has got a 28mm spring but i've never seen it used :shock:
