    Removing fitted wardrobes?

The screw facing outwards, turn it, see what happens. You'll have to turn the other side by an equal amount. If this cupboard is screwed into another cupboard next to it, then nothing will happen, you'll have to locate and undo those screws too.

    Removing fitted wardrobes?

Sounds like kitchen cupboard brackets. Try undoing the screw, you might find that the wardrobe slowly removes away from the wall and can be lifted away. Mind your head! That said, if they are proper fitted wardrobes, there is likely to be trim and skirtings fitted around the edges.

Mold blocker paint before matt emulsion

Cold and damp often feel the same, it can be cold and dry but feel damp. In any case, cold isn't great, as it means condensation could form. But your window opening and dehumidifier will reduce that likelihood. Don't forget to heat the space as well, warm air hold the moisture, which then...

    Recycling Tory policies

Following today's headline news about military sites being used to house refugees, the previous government announced the same thing in 2023, causing Yvette Cooper to brand it as "an admission of failure on asylum policy" We're just going round in circles! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65107827

roofing job - what do you think?

I think it's shyte, but I didn't bother commenting that, because I thought it would be best to wait for a roofer to come along with a more detailed and helpful response.

Need cheap storage in west london while getting a house extension built into the garden

Storage isn't cheap, sometimes it's easier to throw your stuff away and buy it again than pay to store it! Any space on site for a shed or rented shipping container? Ask around if friends/neighbours have any spare garage or loft space. Know of any old ladies that live nearby in a big house...

    Is roof felt waterproof?

The flappage would bother me, I'd place a length of timber underneath the flying battens, up against the wall to trap the felt against the wall. Then screw in from the top. Use another batten or bit of 4x1 or 2.

I'm in agreement with BA, wider boards are asking for trouble, and might look out of place.

It's gonna look stupid, either get a smaller cupboard or modify the one you have.

    Is this rot?

Permaguard and EverBuild are two I've used. If you are able to get a proper support, ideally a joist, under that stud wall, so that the new floor covering butts up to it, rather than going under it, will make life a lot easier for future maintenance.

    Is this rot?

If it were me, I'd be looking to replace the floor and any compromised joists. Wood preservative on all timbers, as a precaution. If there are isolation valves on the bath taps then taking it out is potentially a DIY job, if you are up for the challenge!
