So ive changed the smaller iso valve for a bigger one which seemed to go further on up the pipe. Only a v slow drip I'm tempted to unscrew it and wrap ptf or jointing compound around the olive.

I've hopefully managed it, carefully used a dremel. If I cut the pipe I didn't have enough room to put the isolation valve on. What would I need to replace that part? I've not done any plumbing with that stuff. I'm not sure, I've taken another pic. I think there hepo. Thought I'd sorted it but...

Ive spent so long trying to get the old olive off the white pipe it won't budge, managed to do the cold and I've had to tighten it alot hoping it's not dripping anymore, I take it I should have taken the old olive off? At this rate the white pipe is going to be useless.

Thank you, I'll bleed a radiator at some point, I'm not sure how to refill I was shown this lever by a plumber once, which seems to do something. Got to the point of removing the sink before finding out the water supply hasn't got iso valves so I'm waiting on them now.

I take it there's no way to get that 45 off? I'm just worried if I cut it and the pipe doesn't move I'll have a little space to play with or can I put the new black pipe in? I'll have a look in the morning the vanity units arrived and it's damaged although the sink is fine so I'll have to see...

    Would this be possible?

Thought I'd mention this as I've just removed the radiator cover to start getting the tiles up and it looks like it's leaked.

Is it worth using solvent cleaner? Or could I just use iso to clean?

    Would this be possible?

I've just thought, what would be the best way to connect to the bottle trap as its compression, and my joints are SW, would I be able to use some of the 3m black pipe and SW into the 90?

Thank you. I'm just adding stuff to my screwfix basket atm I was going to say is there any difference with 32mm vs 40mm,also the bottle traps 50mm vs 75 water seal. Also would you just use SW or switch to compression after the straight Appreciate all the help

Thank you that helps me picture it, I don't suppose you've got a pic of the 45s atm I can picture it in a V shape.

    Would this be possible?

Thank you. I'll see what it looks like when I start taking the tiles up. I'm nervous that if I mess it up I won't be able to revert it back, but I do like a challenge haha. I've never used SW before I've done basics like add isolation valves etc and re plumb under the sink. I think seeing the...

I didn't think about having to cut the skirting, that should be doable, wonder if a dremel would cut that,i take it I'd cut it a few mm enough to slide the unit in between. I've no idea what a SW socket is when I Google it brings up wall sockets

The 45 is about 17-20cm. I think it's glued? So would you put another 45 on going the opposite way then straight and connecting to the p trap? I'm going to start removing the floor tiles this week. I've also asked a plumber how much. I've had a doodle helps me get a rough idea.

    Would this be possible?

Thank you. Yes it's been hard to find a corner unit in black. With the plumbing what would you do? As you can see the bottom part is at an angle then goes straight up. From what I've read p traps are better than bottle?. If I added a p trap I could then maybe line it up with the bottom, but...

    Would this be possible?

Yes that's what I thought don't know how I feel about that when it's going to cost £150ish. That's what I was thinking but I bet it's cheap mdf which would chip when drilled I think it's a bottle trap so I'm wondering if I could get something smaller
