Hi I've had to adjust the door due to the heat and I've noticed why it might have dropped, the screw from the hinge to the frame looks loose, and probably why were having to light the door to shut.
How do I go about tightening this?
The top is too tight, and I've had to adjust it almost to...
Just gave it another go with cotton wool and meth spirit.
Is it a case of lightly sanding and can I just use dulux satinwood, same as the skirting boards?
I've given it a few rub downs with meth spirit, I think it is coming off, it won't get rid of that pesky stain that we have no idea where it came from, but you can see the underneath starting to show.
I'm not sure to me the surface looks shiny plastic ?? Are these premdoor doors?
If I can...
Ive recently been painting our skirting boards and door frames with satinwood, and I'm now noticing the 6 panel doors which are 10 years old could do with a touch up,can these be painted? It doesn't look like I can sand them much.
I'm also wondering if I can repair the hole in one of the doors...
Hi thought I'd try here for help my sisters moved into there new place and has sent me this video, she thinks changing the tap will help but... Any ideas it does this in the kitchen or when the washing machine or toilet is flushed.
Tap buzz
Hi noticed the front door has dropped again.
The installer came back out and tried to lift the door but apparently the hinge now needs packing out as there's no room to adjust the door?? He tried to adjust it but it wouldn't hold?
We've had constant problems since it was installed, with me...
It's the switch that had the kettle plugged into it so got used a fair bit, switched on one morning and then we couldn't press the switch back in/off properly.
Apologies for the quotes
Took another socket off and no problems, so the replacement socket arrived with only the right side working.
Is there anyway just to repair the faulty switch? It's not fully switching off like something stuck or broken in the switch
Hi I've changed the kitchen socket due to 1 of the switches breaking, wouldn't let me switch it off.
Since I've changed the socket the left socket doesn't seem to work, if I flick the on switch I get power for a brief second then nothing.... Any ideas?
I've since tried the old socket and still...
Hi hozelock pipe spit so have cut it back, can you reuse these silly clips? As I'm not having much luck.
Tempted to just use a jubilee clip but would that be strong enough?
