    Treating and old iron bench

I do have some Rustins rust converter left over from doing the rads and Evaporust but probably not enough. I found Evaporust not very good after using it to be honest and it was darn expensive.

    Treating and old iron bench

Oh right, I didn't know white vinegar worked, and like you say, cheap. Although to fill a pond with it I imagine I would need a lot. Perhaps spray some on after wire brushing. Thanks.

    Treating and old iron bench

I picked this up free in the village from a resedent who threw it out. I have seen garden benches selling in similar conditions for hundreds at reclamation yards. It's still very solid but as I like it's rustic astheatic, I still need to treat the rust so at least it holds for many more years...

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

I had a different filter shower head on my old Triton which I was using. I sold it and bought a more sophisticated one which of course the new Triton doesn't like, even though they are sold in their thousands on Amazon.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

hard to say as there are no numbered increments. I was thinking if I got a small piece of hose and attached it to the hole of the overflow with a glue gun , it would divert the water into the bath away from the edge rather than ripping off the sealant.

    Leaking new shower door

It clearly doesn't like this way round so perhaps it was on the correct way all along for this model ?

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

I get that but I just think it should be easier to replace like all other showers rather than having to get the whole thing out and mess up the sealant. I can do it easy enough but it's just a pain to have to reseal afterwards.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

If I cut it away enough (and this wouldn't be easy as it is really thick and strong and will make the finish look a dog's dinner) to release the housing, it will still leave the electrics being exposed to possible water. Also don't want it leaking into the brickwork where the water pipe comes...

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

Absolutely not. I will contact them now. Again, hanks for your help. Update - Triton say you can unclip the bottom of the plastic housing but of course the sealant is stopping me removing it. What a ridiculous set up!

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

Thanks again, much appreciated but I cannot get it to come out. It's impossible as no hole underneath. It twists a little but frustratingly no way of pulling it out.

    Leaking new shower door

I've taken it off and turned it around but you can see there is more of a gap nearer the hinge side and the spirit level is spot on.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

Ok, good. I still can't fathom how to get to it though.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

I will do that but thanks for your help and patience.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

Ok, I assume you are referring to the relief hole that the excess water is leaking out from ? I have looked on the Triton website but can't see any reference to change it except a basic blueprint.

New Triton shower leaking from bottom

That's the thing, I can't get to the screw heads you have circled. Why would they not have them facing the front so you can unscrew ? This seems very odd as most other showers are easy to get to it. How would turning on the shower help identify it's location ?
