Best to take the whole lot out the divertor has a push fit into the dhw h/exch so that has to come off. Will need to replace all the washers as it will leak.Worse boiler they make to work on

The ecomax pro 28e is the HXI in disguise the only boiler they do for a normal vented system

Apart from the display and pcb it is a glow-worm HXI and suprise it is cheaper.No serious problems encountered just the odd noisey one on start-up can be cured by de-ratring fan speed.
