Have had this acouple of times, on the aqua plus as well in my case changing the fan cured the problem it was not modulating properly but these are only fitted to the larger models so may not apply to you.

On these boilers fan runs constant to provide air for the pilot to burn some have air pressure switch, some do not normally it is the thermo couple or/and the o/heat stat weak.Although had one last week the meter gov. was gone it was ok to light pilot but soon as burner lit w/p at meter dropped...

Did you drain out of the p.r.v if you did look outside and see if the pipe is dripping could be the p.r.v letting-bye

Have known make a noise when to much inhibitor in system they swell up and spin and can make a racket i generally replace them after draining system and refilling with less inhibitor usually cures noise

actuator is the black motor clipped on to the divertor valve which drives a spring loaded pin in to divert flow to the c/h you can unclip it and see if it drives in or out.

If it is a new install check the blue wire on the low voltage is disconnected.If it is not it will by-pass the controls and remain on.it could be a faulty timer, or the 240 volt option board playing up. Have had some with the orange link in the p.c.b left in this will also by-pass all the ext...

If you think it is okay to mess with gas so be it, but do not imply it is okay for others to do so. if you you got ripped off as you say then tough, for every cowboy there are ten good corgis ,as for the competent diy advocates if you are so competent why do you ask for advice on this site it...

probably is gas valve with second post original post said no spark was trying to accommodate both posts

If you phone glowworm they will send you a manual if you are certain it was not sparking then it will not just be the gas valve i beleive glowworm do a fixed fee repair try them

F1 no gas or faulty gas valve cvi unit could be faulty maybe air pressure switch another possibility ign. lead defect

Firstly have you got a combi boiler if so which model i had a compact doing what you describe it was the diaphrham split would work on the bath but not the basins because the pressures were greater on 15mm pipe work

open pump vent see if it is spinning if not try to free it other possibility c/h thermistor fault check aav is open could be air lock

is the central heating switch on the boiler on located above the gas valve .Do not think boiler has divertor valve has bi-thermic h/exch relies on pump for c/h.

So the information printed in junes edition of gas installer is wrong regarding relllocation and installation of used appliances.Needs to be adressed or could cause some issues maybe even fines.

You will need to notify corgi if you move the boiler as per june edition of gas installer .They wont know so what the hell forget it

I misread regs you can relocate boiler but you have to do a gwn and treat it as a new installation and get a exemption code. Might as well fit a steamer by the time you re-run pipe work and flue etc
