    Wireless TRV's

Serviced a guys boiler recently & he had the Danfoss kit on his system, it looked good, easy to fit & the guy said it saved him a fortune on gas. He fitted it himself by the way & the brief look I had at the electrics it looked very easy to wire. HTH

6 engineer visits and still boiler not fixed!

This thread made me laugh. WB have always been rubbish boilers & yours was past its best about 10 minutes after it was fitted. As for the 6 engineers(use the term loosely!) c'mon!!

    Replacement Gas Boiler

Wow!! I didn't think there was any big houses in Fife? Viessmann stuff is overpriced & underspec. £855 for a power flush is well over the odds too, sort of says it all really.

Myson Apollo making loud 'trombone' noise

Great wee boiler in its day. It's a low water content heat exchanger & were always prone to kettling. Get the guy to check the bypass & ensure the circulation pump is set correctly, they need a high flow rate.....👍👍 HTH

Big Labour shortage here in Scotland!!

Either would be a disaster for Scotland BA. I mean Labour get in to power, spend like a drunk sailor & get us deeper into debt!! The SNP couldn't run a Sweet Shop, since they took control of the NHS for example the waiting list time has doubled & the Hospitals are manky!! No, the only way...

Big Labour shortage here in Scotland!!

Ironically, the central heating trade is completely awash with one-man-bands DP. I say ironically, as prior to the 08 crash the best money you could make was in central heating & Gas servicing work.

Big Labour shortage here in Scotland!!

With an increase in new builds and the shortage of good Timeserved Plumbers, many guys are now on very big money. £20/hour on some jobs is not uncommon. Self Employed guys are making £1-1.2K a week. The tide has certainly turned, which is great!!

    low cost combi Boiler Reviews

The syphonic condensate trap is a bit of a pig on these DP. There's no internal sensor, with air starvation to the burner sparking a fault code, being the only warning of trouble. As its syphonic, you must have an open end at the drain connection point of the condensate pipe. So you must follow...
