It's not. Oh here wait a minute!! Some tozzer from the combustion chamber pot will be along directly saying this shouldn't be on a public forum.......

    Grundfos UPS2 15-50/60 startup problem

That's for all the 'Swiss rolls' & 'Lats' that can't read English Dan.

    central heating pump size

That's the point Tony, some clueless moron is searching for half baked advice on a DIY forum. You know it'll end in tears. I pity the poor customer.

    central heating pump size

Hmmmm......Granny & egg sucking springs to mind!! Listen mate, I've fitted more heating systems over the last 40 years in the trade than you've had hot dinners. I know what a f.cking bypass is for!! I was pointing out how boiler manufacturers don't give the whole picture in their MIs &...

    central heating pump size

Funny, but after speaking to Vokera they recommended an external bypass valve on their Mynute range - though there's an integral one on the boiler??!!! We did struggle to achieve correct Delta Ts also with these boilers. Hmmmm not the best & I'm a Vokera fan too!!!

    Flue integrity test

True dear boy, but there's so many other skills. Most Gas Johnnies are just sticking their probe up some old dear's flue 8 hours a day!!!

    Flue integrity test

This is probably one of the best details on the subject. You must forgive all the 'Gas Johnnies' on here mate, they think they're the dogs danglers & God's gift to the heating industry. Most experienced engineers will understand that gas is just one fuel & gas appliances don't account for...

How best to connect/run cylinder and electric boiler

Scottish Power did do a great tariff for electric storage combi boilers & the name of which escapes me. It's an age thing!!! These are units I've fitted & would recommend; http://www.heatwell.co.uk/our-products/electric-combi-storage-boiler/ Most utility companies will limit the type of...

    Boiler Recommendations

I think this is grossly unfair & niave to say the least. Anyone who has been in business knows that with set-up costs etc there will be a break-even point for any company. To highlight a companies formative financial statement & put it in the public domain is wrong. Goodn luck to you Andrew...

    Conservatory Heating

These DIY fit units are a piece of cake to fit. You don't even need to pull a vacuum to gas it up. http://www.heateasy.co.uk/products/Easy-Fit-Heat-Pump-Inverter.html Tony is right as normal, the COP drops away when the temperature drops, but normally that's only a few days a year. From...

    Bath panel trimming

For 2mm on a UPVC Bath Panel I'd use a hand plane.

    Integrity test & vertical flues

Well my understanding is the integrity test is the same as what's done on boiler commissioning; http://www.tpieurope.com/products/716/FGA_Combined.pdf

Common Waste Pipe for PRV Discharge

HEPVO Durex trap & push fit, not MUPVC or ABS waste pipe is acceptable here in Scotland. Done all the time on new builds.

    Integrity test & vertical flues

What? The standard O2 test with a FGA that's all.

    Integrity test & vertical flues

True Tony, but I'm not looking for any man on man action so I'm not too bothered.
